CAG repeat length variation in the androgen receptor gene is not associated with spermatogenic failure Westerveld H, Visser L, Tanck M, van der Veen F, Repping S. Previous association studies that described the effect of an enlarged CAG repeat length in the Androgen Receptor (AR) gene on spermatogenesis could not prove or refute a true association because of methodological weaknesses. Here, we clearly show that there is no association between CAG repeat length variation and semen quality.
