Infertility is a disease with global prevalence. The causes of infertility are disparate. Reproductive conditions like azoospermia, asthenozoospermia etc. are leading causes of male infertility. Several genes have been reported to be associated with one or more of these conditions. A common platform with information on all these genes and their associated disorders will help gain insight on the contribution of genes, their interacting patners in the manifestation of an infertility phenotype. This information will also help researchers in identifying the affected pathways and aid in disease management

Male Infertility Knowledgebase is a consolidated resource on genes associated with reproductive disorders leading to male infertility (See phenogram). The database is manually curated for gene associations with infertility. The database currently holds information on genes, proteins, gene ontology, pathways, associated disorders and literature references. The literature references are mined for information like study population description, other genes studied, comorbid conditions etc. The information is well connected to other useful external databases. Tools for gene enrichment, snp analysis, BLAST have been integrated in the database. This knowledgebase currently holds information on 17754 genes associated with reproductive disorders leading to infertility
